Band of Angels Gospel Choir – New Musical Director / New location

The Band of Angels Gospel Choir is an unconventional SATB community gospel choir that sings predominantly African and African American Gospel Music with a sprinkling of blues, soul, jazz, contemporary spiritual songs and more…

The Band of Angels is made up of people from all walks of life, countries and beliefs who aim to bring spirit, passion and accuracy to their interpretation of this rich musical tradition.

They have an open door policy and believe that this music encourages everyone to sing and sing well!

Until further notice rehearsals will be held at the Royal Perth Yacht Club, Mews Road, Fremantle,  on Mondays from 7-9 pm.
(Directions: Cross the railway line into Freo Fishing Harbour, pass Little Creatures and Kailis Bros, drive about 50 m further around the back, the Yacht Club is on the right)

Band of Angels have a new musical director Carolyn Bourke,  a section leader with the Australian Champion barbershop chorus, Perth Harmony.

The choir is currently looking for new members.

Membership is open to all and fees are $12 waged/$10 unwaged.
