The choir will perform about 3 songs, one being an original arrangement by Parissa Bouas who is a writer performer of original and world music.

Parts and scores will be available to learn prior to the festival and rehearsals will be held when Parissa arrives in Perth.

The performance will be presented on the Sunday allowing for those who cannot attend the whole weekend.

It will be the first time such a choir gets the opportunity to perform at this venue.

The choir (with an age range of between 30 & 80+) welcomes all non-singers, shower singers, park singers, car singers, air guitar singers and actual singers.  The choir does not have any religious affiliations but sing songs from the heart that engender goodwill, raise self-esteem and help you lose the blues. The repertoire includes gospel, 60′s & 70′s, uplifting songs, short classical pieces and anything that moves the soul.
The cost is $14.00 per session and includes music, good company and a cuppa.

The choir’s name celebrates the Coryule Ward and also the historical property originally owned by Anne Drysdale and Caroline Newcombe, great pioneers of the area.

The choir meets at the Drysdale Senior Citizens Club every Thursday at 1.30 pm, under the direction of Joy Porter.

Whilst it can be helpful, there is no requirement to read music.

The choir is regularly invited by several local organisations to perform, such as the Australia Day committee, local Probus and Rotary Clubs as well as for the residents of various Aged Care facilities.

Their aim is to entertain and spread happiness and togetherness through music.
