Seeking a Music Director – Perth Symphonic Chorus
The Perth Symphonic Chorus (PSC), established in 1997, has been led since its inception by internationally-acclaimed conductor, Dr Margaret Pride. At the end of 2021, after 25 years of leadership which includes conducting over one hundred and twenty concerts, Margaret stepped down from her position as Music Director.

The Chorus comprises 50-70 disciplined, enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are skilled in performing the works of some of the best choral composers throughout the ages. The Chorus members are auditioned, amateur singers. Attached to PSC is the Perth Chamber Choir, a small group of more highly skilled choristers, who are drawn from the Chorus to present more complex works at PSC concerts. There are typically five concerts per year – one in each of June and October, two carol concerts in churches and Handel’s Messiah in the Perth Concert Hall in December.

Rehearsals: Thursday evening from 7:30-10:00pm at All Saints Floreat Uniting Church.

Perth Symphonic Chorus is seeking an experienced and passionate professional Music Director to lead the chorus from 2022.

Commencement date: For immediate start, Covid permitting.
