Voice Moves sadly had to cancel the Country Choir Bash which would normally have been held in Beverley early September. The Covid epidemic has effectively shut down all choirs for several months along with the many performances that choirs work towards throughout the year.
However as more and more groups are slowly returning to singing Voice Moves would like to invite the community of singers to muster in Beverley for a Big Sing and concert. We know you’ve all missed choir and a virtual rehearsal is just not the same!!! So, even if your choir is not back to normal rehearsals round up those who would love a trip to the beautiful town of Beverley where you will hear a few choirs singing and also have the opportunity to sing with gusto for a community big sing – to be lead by some wonderful Musical Directors.
As this event is used as a fund raising event for the town of Beverley, Voice Moves support their effort by asking the singers, friends and visitors to pay $10 as a gate fee which aids the Beverley Arts Community. This includes not just a great concert but the most spectacular afternoon tea. For those who have attended before you already know that the afternoon tea served at Beverley is befitting royalty – but due to Covid they are unable to travel to Australia. However the lovely ladies from the Beverley Station Arts Committee who are our hosts for the day always ensure that all those in attendance feel like royalty.
This year we will need to ask people to go on-line to purchase their ticket on a trybookings event page so that we keep track of numbers and comply with the Covid Safety Plan and limitations on numbers.
