Description

Churchlands Choral Society Inc. has been proudly producing wonderful singing since 1996. We are a
SATB choir with a current membership of around 37, representing a wide age range. We sing from a
varied repertoire of classical and traditional uplifting music from Thomas Tallis to Broadway.
We normally perform two concerts a year. Performing is not compulsory but very enjoyable and
satisfying. Previous musical knowledge is an advantage but not essential. We provide information
on accessing Youtube SATB parts to aid learning.
We are a very friendly inclusive choir and love welcoming new singers. Our accomplished Musical
Director is Rachel Martella, our Accompanist is talented musician Alex Wheeler.
We meet for rehearsals at Floreat Uniting Church Hall, 50 Berkeley Crescent, Floreat on Monday
nights at 7.00 to 9.00pm during school terms. Wheelchair access is available via the church foyer.
Wearing of a mask is optional and sanitiser is available.
For more information contact the President, Assunta Martella 0422 482 584 or email
churchlandschoralsociety@gmail.com.
