The Coryule Chorus is a mixed choir from the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, formed in August 2010 who love to sing in 4-part harmony.
The choir’s name celebrates the Coryule Ward and also the historical property originally owned by Anne Drysdale and Caroline Newcombe, great pioneers of the area.
The choir meets at St James Anglican Hall, Collins Street Drysdale every Thursday at 1.30 pm, under the direction of Joy Porter..
Whilst it can be helpful, there is no requirement to read music.
The choir is regularly invited by several local organisations to perform, such as the Australia Day committee, local Probus and Rotary Clubs as well as for the residents of various Aged Care facilities.
Their aim is to entertain and spread happiness and togetherness through music.
