Vocal specialist, community choir director, registered music therapist (Melbourne University), and singer/songwriter/storyteller Raelene Bruinsma has a passion for supporting people in finding their voices in many domains. Originally classically trained as a singer, she later retrained in contemporary styles, gaining a “certificate of proficiency in Estill vocal figures” along the way. Her gladbag of tricks and over 30 years of vocal musical experience allows a personalized approach to meet your vocal goals while attending to vocal health and longevity. Raelene offers private singing lessons, workshops in “Singing with an Open Throat”, and short courses in songwriting. She loves to help people overcome barriers to singing, whether they be psychologically or physiologically/technically based. She also works with more experienced singers on addressing pesky vocal issues.
