The Dazzlers

The group which includes 6 women and 1 man was formed some years ago and has enjoyed being invited to perform at nursing homes, retirement villages and community centres. Our repertoire includes solos, duets, an a cappella quartet and some comedy routines. The programme is varied to suit the individual venues (or the event such as Mothers’ Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas, etc.) and continually encompasses new numbers particularly as we are sometimes requested to return to the same venue. The material is chosen to resonate with older people to remind them of their favourites from their youth. The name of the group highlights the fact that we wear dazzling costumes, which we change several times during the performances, and lots of jewellery.
