EKKO

EKKO is an eklektic khoral kommunity outfit with loads of heart ( and limited spelling ability).  We love to sing and have a laugh, followed by a cup of coffee at the cafe next door.  Some of us like the scones too.

Our director is a highly experienced chorister and conductor.  She knows stuff.

We sing in up to four parts.  Our repertoire currently includes a Liberian folk song, an early 17th century canon, popular songs rom the sixties to now, a Native American song and the odd Christmas carol., mostly sung accompanied in English, but with the odd a cappella number thrown in.  We recently sang at the Guildford, Songfest, Amana Living and the Bull Creek Shopping centre, where Father Christmas joined in with us (though he could have used more rehearsal).  Our 2026 program includes Singing in the City and various Songfests.

There are no auditions - we are here for the love of singing together.  An some of us come for the scones too,.
